Työni takia käytän vuodessa monta tuubia käsirasvaa, sillä päiväkodissa saa pestä käsiä monta kertaa päivässä. Iho kuivuu ja rohtuu, ja ikävästi kirvelee kun kastuu, saati sitten kun joutuu käyttämään käsidesiä. Talvella tilanne on tietenkin pahempi kun kesällä.
Tähänkin ongelmaan olen saanut sponsorin apuun! Pia, Ecoil luonnonkosmetiikkaöljyn kehittäjä, lähetti minulle käsi- ja kynsiöljyn ja vielä Ilpolle partaöljyn.
Kokeilin käsiöljyä heti kun pääsin kotiin ja samantien ihastuin! Kädet olivat tietenkin hetken aikaa öljyiset, mutta jälkeenpäin iho oli eri tavalla pehmeät kuin peruskäsirasvan jälkeen. Käteni olivat sillon erityisen kuivat, mutta ensimmäisen kokeilun jälkeen näyttivät siltä kuin olisin juuri tullut käsihoidosta!
Tuoksu öljyssä on hyvin mieto, eli sopii mainiosti hajuherkille. Suosittelen tätä tuotetta erityisesti ihmisille, joiden kädet kärsivät äärimmäisestä kuivuudesta syystä tai toisesta. Olen käyttänyt tätä päivittäin, mutta ottanut myös tavaksi käyttää öljyä illalla ennen nukkumaanmenoa, jotta öljy saa rauhassa imeytyä. Tykkään myös välillä käyttää puuvillahanskoja yön yli tuotteen kanssa, joka tekee ihosta vielä pehmeämmän ja kosteutetun.
Ilpon partaöljy oli myös hitti. Ilpolla on herkkä iho ja välillä punertaa eri kohdissa, mm. parran alta. Kun hän kokeili öljyä ensimmäisen kerran, hän harmitteli kun öljy kirveli ihoa. Ilpolla oli juuri sillon iho vähän huonommassa kunnossa, joten ehdotin, että hoitaa sen kuntoon tutuilla rasvoilla ensin ja sitten kokeilee uudestaan.
Näin hän teki ja toisen kokeilukerran jälkeen hän on ollut varsin tyytyväinen tuotteeseen ja tykännyt laittaa öljyä suihkun jälkeen. Hänen mielestä se tekee parrasta vähän liian kiiltävän aamuisin käytettäväksi, joten hänkin on ottanut öljy "yötuotteeksi". Parta on ollut pehmeämpi, iho paremmassa kunnossa pidempään, ja Ilpo on itse sanonut että parta ei kutise tuttuun tapaan vaikka se olisi kasvanut hieman pidemmäksi.

As I mentioned in my previous post, skincare is a part of my health and well being project for our wedding year. Apart from our faces, our hands will also be looked and photographed a lot, as many guests will want to see our wedding rings and many handshakes will be captured on film. This is why I consider hand and nail care very important.
I use many tubes of hand cream a year because of my job, as in a daycare hands need to be washed many times a day. My skin dries out and chaps, and even plain water starts stinging, let alone when I have to use hand disinfectant. The situation is obviously worse in winter than it is in summer.
I have received help for this problem from a sponsor! Pia, the developer of Ecoil Natural cosmetic oil, sent me a hand and nail oil, and Ilpo also received a beard oil.
I tried the hand oil as soon as I got home and immediately fell in love! My hands were obviously oily for quite some time, but afterwards my skin was a different kind of soft compared to how they would be after using a normal hand cream. My hands were especially dry that day, but just after the first test they looked like they had just enjoyed a manicure!
The scent of the oil is very mild, so is suitable for people sensitive to smell. I recommend this product especially to those whose hands suffer from extreme dryness for whatever reason. I have used this daily, but prefer to use this in the evening before going to bed, so that the oil can absorb in peace. I also like to use it overnight with a pair of cotton gloves, the combination of which makes the skin even softer and moisturised.
Ilpo's beard oil was also a hit. Ilpo has sensitive skin which sometimes develops rash-like areas, including underneath his beard. When he tried the oil the first time, he was disappointed to notice that it stung a little. Ilpo's skin was not in its best condition at the time, so I suggested that he uses his familiar products until it recovers and then try again.
He took my advice and the second time he tried it, he was very pleased with the product, and has gotten into the habit of applying it after showering. He says that it makes his beard too shiny for it to be used int he morning, so he uses his oil as a night product too. His beard has been softer, skin in better condition for longer and Ilpo himself has said that his beard does not itch as much when it gets a little longer.
