Olemme alkaneet miettimään mitä koristeita tahdomme häihimme. Ilpo ei (tietenkään) ole yhtä kiinnostunut aiheesta kuin minä, ja on sanonut että hänelle käy kaikki, mutta silti haluan kuulla hänen mielipidettä asioista mitä olen miettinyt.
Kuten kirjoitin aikasemmassa postauksessa, meillä ei ole tiettyjä häävärejä, vaan tullaan käyttämään kaikkia värejä. Koen että tämä vähentää tilaisuuden muodollisuutta, sekä vähentää minun stressitasoja ja tarvetta olla tarkka pienistä yksityiskohdista. Syynä tähän on se että värit yhdistää niin monta asiaa häissä: morsiamen kukkakimppu, sulhasen viehe, kaasojen puvut, bestmanien asusteet, koristukset, pöytäkattaukset, jne. Olen myös värin ystävä, ja me molemmat olemme värikkäitä persoonia, joten 2-3 värin valitseminen tuntui liian rajottavalta.
As I said in a previous post, we do not have specific wedding colours, but rather are using all colours. I feel this reduces the formality of the event, and also keeps my stress levels and need to be precise about even the smallest details. This is because colour ties in so many aspects of the wedding: the bride's bouquet, the groom's boutonniere, bridesmaids' dresses, groomsmen's accessories, decorations, table settings and so on. I am personally a fan of colour and both of us have colourful personalities, so choosing 2-3 wedding colours felt a little restrictive.

Tykkään tämän kattauksen yksinkertaisuudesta, kuitenkin käyttäen erilaisia kukkia eri väreissä. "Vähemmän on enemmän" -tyyli, joka ei todellakaan sovi minun ajatusmaailmaan!
I like the simplicity of this decoration, using different flowers of different colours. A "less is more" style which, I admit, is not my style of thinking at all!

This is another simple yet effective style. A little more homemade looking. We will not be going for exactly this, as there's a little too much work in finding so many jars and vases, let alone setting them up, however it would be great to incorporate this in an easier way.

I like the idea of using something other than flowers to bring colour to the table. Even though I do not know what the things in this picture are, I still think it looks nice and playful.

This caught my eye immediately and the more I searched, the more pictures I found. The more I found, the more I started liking this combination.

Originally I had been thinking about using rose gold accents as a colour to tie in everything, however now these black and white stripes are taking over my attention. I would have never thought that I, a person who very rarely wears black and strongly favours colour, would ever be interested in black and white!

We still need to discuss things with our wedding fairy godmothers, but I'm sure the finished product will be nothing short of fabulous!
